you know how when you're a kid on Christmas eve, and you're trying to fall asleep, but an unintentional 2-3 hours is spent trying to convince your inner voice that the sooner you get to bed, the sooner you can get to those presents downstairs?
Well, that's me. I think I got a total of two hours sleep time, because my inner thought just wants to rattle on and on all night about things that seem so insignificant to most people in a relationship, that me and Mark will now have the opportunity of experiencing after two years of waiting. These thoughts range from watching him open his surprise gift-basket, to comparing cultural differences from architecture to food as I show him around Sheridan, to sharing my thoughts about the "Good Omens" and "Bill Bryson Down Under" stories which he'd surprised me with. I haven't stopped giggling and smiling since I tried to get to bed at 1am. I think I hear that Mark's been awake for an hour down stairs. Not sure if that's the time difference, or if he's just as excited, but one thing's for sure; this is going to be the most exciting day of my entire life.
I love you, Mark. I really do
