not sure why, the other night I had a strange urge to draw me and :iconmy-tempest: in Squid-form joining Dan Halen in a reading circle.

There was something totally awesome about Dan Halen reading The Lottery to the squids in Double Truckin the Tricky Two

I want him to read me something :P Preferably Gone With the Wind, that's my book right there!

Now that I think about it, the new episode 42 "The Liar, The Bitch, and the BoredRube" is what made me draw this. How epic is it that they added a "Mouse and the Motorcycle" joke?

He does have a gorgeous voice.

haha, some friends of mine thought it was the guy who did the Brain's voice in Pinky and the Brain at first...and although it's suppose to be just a poor rip-off of Orson Wells, I don't think any other voice over would have fit the Dan Halen character so wonderfully.
:iconjackandsally4ever:
haha, yea. I've heard a lot of people saying they read The Lottery in school...with the way some things are going, I'm starting to wonder how you're able to. I don't understand why we can't read books like Les Misérables, Kite Runner, or classics like Gone With the Wind. I understand the racism bit as upsetting some people but come on, that's just how things were back then :P

Actually now that I think about it, Gone With the Wind is an extremely racist novel so I should probably replace it with a better example ^^;

I got to a pretty liberal boarding school, so that's probably why. We also read Handmaid's Tale and stuff like that, they're not worried about being 'offensive'.
